What is Exilis?
Exilis is FDA approved procedure that tighten skin, burns fat, reduces wrinkles and remodels skin.
- It is a non-invasive body shaping and skin tightening device.
- Ultrasound vibrations to melt the pockets of fat and radiofrequency (RF) energy to liquify fat
- The heat on the collagen causes it to contract which smooths the skin and reduce wrinkles

What to expect during the treatment?
- Patient consultation day: We will take photos, measurments, discuss your expectations of the procedure
- Pre-procedure prep for Exilis: Drink plenty of water in the week leading up to treatment.
- Eight to 10 glasses a day will improve the function of your lymphatic system, and help to flush the fat from the body more efficiently.
- On the day of treatment: Remove all jewelry and skin lotion before an Exilis session.
Keeping yourself hydrated with 8-10 glasses of water a day before treatment, the day of treatment and post-treatment.

About your Treatment
- Please wear/bring with you unimportant, comfortable clothing for the treatment (including undergarments) – tank tops and loose-fitting shorts are best. The treatment area must be easily exposed. Ultrasound gel or mineral oil may get on your clothing. If you bring your clothes with you, please arrive 10 minutes early so you have time to change.
- No make-up, creams or lotions on skin; no jewelry. Skin should be hair free.
- Patients who have having treatments done on their body (abdomen, arms, legs, etc.) should be well hydrated. Drink plenty of water the day before, the day of and the day after treatment to get the best efficacy.
- Be prepared to move! It is very important that you move following your Exilis treatment. Plan to take at least a 30-minute walk the day of and the 2 days following your treatment. Additional exercise is ok.
What You Can Expect
Facial treatments
- Most patients will have transient erythema (pinkness/redness) that will last from a few minutes to an hour or possibly longer.
- Some patients will feel their skin as warm immediately after the treatment, but this will dissipate quickly.
- Treatment of the lower face and under the jaw may leave some patients with tenderness to touch. This may last a few hours up to a day.



Body Treatments
- Most patients will have transient erythema (pinkness/redness) that will last from a few minutes to an hour or possibly longer.
- Some patients may experience warmness for up to a few hours after treatment, as deep tissue retains heat longer.
- Some patients may feel tenderness in the treated area.
